Answering calls, taking messages and handling correspondence..
Responsibilities
- Managing databases
- Logging or processing bills or expenses
- Implementing new procedures and administrative systems
- Liaising with relevant organisations and clients.
- Meeting and greeting clients.
- Prioritising workloads.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Use a variety of software packages (including OPERA, Microsoft Excel, Access and Powerpoint) to manage data and produce documents and reports
- Manage and maintain budgets and carry out invoicing
- Sort and distribute incoming post and organise and send outgoing post (this may involve the use of a franking machine)
- Strong communication - both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a multi task environment
Desirable Skills
- The nature of the role is to support colleagues and projects and may evolve into taking the lead on projects yourself.
- Previous experience desirable - not essential.
- The ability to plan your own work, use your initiative and meet deadlines
- The ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands, and prioritise tasks and workload
- A pleasant, confident telephone manner
Further Information
Work Time: 8.00am-5.00pm. We have a requirement for a secretarial role within our business. Part time or full time depending on experience.
