Answering calls, taking messages and handling correspondence..

Responsibilities

  • Managing databases
  • Logging or processing bills or expenses
  • Implementing new procedures and administrative systems
  • Liaising with relevant organisations and clients.
  • Meeting and greeting clients.
  • Prioritising workloads.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Use a variety of software packages (including OPERA, Microsoft Excel, Access and Powerpoint) to manage data and produce documents and reports
  • Manage and maintain budgets and carry out invoicing
  • Sort and distribute incoming post and organise and send outgoing post (this may involve the use of a franking machine)
  • Strong communication - both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a multi task environment

Desirable Skills

  • The nature of the role is to support colleagues and projects and may evolve into taking the lead on projects yourself.
  • Previous experience desirable - not essential.
  • The ability to plan your own work, use your initiative and meet deadlines
  • The ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands, and prioritise tasks and workload
  • A pleasant, confident telephone manner

Further Information

Work Time: 8.00am-5.00pm. We have a requirement for a secretarial role within our business. Part time or full time depending on experience.
