Job description

To assist the Area Manager in the effective and efficient management of the scheme and to lead the team alongside the manager in providing the highest possible standard of support to the people who use our services in line with Inspire’s strategy. This post with Inspire is designed to meet the demands of delivering quality services to people with learning disabilities, Autism, and complex needs. .

Responsibilities

  • To assist the Area Manager in the effective and efficient management of the scheme and to lead the team alongside the manager in providing the highest possible standard of support.
  • Provide compare and companionship.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Be willing to work various shifts, including day shifts, sleep over cover, night cover, evening and weekend work on a shift rota basis.
  • Possess a full current driving licence and access to a car. Business insurance will be a requirement for this post.
  • Professional qualification i.e. Professional Social Work qualification, a first level registered nurse on the appropriate part of the Nursing and Midwifery Council. A qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC.
  • A relevant Degree i.e. Psychology, Social Care
  • NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent
