We have an opportunity to join our Quality Control team within our Randox Testing department. The role of a Quality Coordinator will be to focus on assessing the QA standards and ensuring RTS laboratory meeting the quality requirement standards. .

Responsibilities

• Day to day management of Quality requirement within RTS Laboratories as directed by the RTS Laboratory Management and/or RTS Quality Manager.
• To maintain accreditations for all RTS sites.
• Perform internal audits as directed by the RTS Quality Manager and required by the RTS audit schedule or RTS management.
• Manage and maintain the PT/EQA schemes participated in by RTS including the review and investigation of unexpected results and the preparation of summary reports for the RTS Quality Manager.
• Manage and review incidents recorded in the laboratory, including initial reviews of incidents raised and close out reviews of action taken.
• Coordination of changes/improvements within RTS in conjunction with the RTS Business Improvement Manager.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A UK science degree qualification or a relevant background in Quality Control.
• Experience/Awareness of ISO17025/relevant QMS.
• Effective communication skills.
• The ability to work under pressure.

Desirable Skills

• Analysis e.g. HPLC/LC-MS/MS
• Awareness of Quality Control Trending
• Experience in a Chemistry/Biology lab
• Experience in Quality Management Standards e.g. ISO17025/9001
