Job description

Our support workers are central to ensuring that Praxis Care achieves our goal of providing quality care and support to our Service Users. Each of our Support Workers will work as part of a dedicated team to provide a high quality and reliable support service. Our Support Workers provide friendliness and encouragement towards our Service Users supporting independence and providing the environment for Service Users to achieve their desired outcomes. Responsibilities

• To support and empower individuals to develop / improve independent living skills as identified in person centred plans
• To work with other Support Workers and Team leaders to promote a safe working and living environment
• To work closely with Team Leaders and managers in preparing and implementing individual and group support programmes

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Interpersonal skills Oral and written communication skills
• Ability to use initiative Organisational skills Problem solving skills
• Computer literate
• Ability to use initiative Team player
• Understanding diversity Solution focused
