Job description

To assist the manager to ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual education and care for all the children placed in the nursery. To assist the manager in supervising and supporting the other team members within the nursery. To assist the manager to manage the nursery on a day to day basis in terms of administration. .

Responsibilities

• Caring for children in an early years setting
• Health and Safety
• Team Work
• To assist with the administrative duties associated with the management of the nursery

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Level 5 in CCLD or equivalent or be in the process of completing or be willing to complete a course
• To have up to date Designated Officer and First Aid training at all times

Desirable Skills

• Full current driving licence and be willing to drive for the nursery
• Previous experience in a deputy role
