Royal Day-Care Nursery is looking to recruit a full-time 12 month contract with possible extension to join our team. We are looking for motivated, dedicated, reliable and flexible individuals who have a genuine passion for working with children. You will be looking after the daily needs of the children in your care. .

Responsibilities

• To adhere to all nursery policies and procedures
• Liaise with Management, colleagues and parents in relation to all aspects of the children's well-being and development
• To organise activities for the children appropriate to their level of development
• To work alongside the Leader to ensure all health & Safety checks are completed
• To communicate and build good relationships with parents
• Work as part of a well-established team
• Planning daily/weekly activities.
• Helping to set monthly themes.
• Observation reports and other duties directed by the leader of your allocated room or Manager.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Ability to demonstrate a commitment to a quality child centred environment.
• A good level of understanding of children's individual needs.
• At least 6 month experience in early years setting, voluntarily or paid.
• Passionate about early years and delivering a very high standard of childcare.
• Must be able to work as a team player.

Desirable Skills

• First Aid.
• Safe Guard and Child Protection training.

Further Information

Location: Broadway Complex, Belfast. Work time: Monday - Friday between 7.30am - 5.30pm. 12 month contract.
