To organise a range of activities that will be stimulating to the children. To look after the basic needs of all children at the nursery. To maintain health and safety procedures and a high level of hygiene at the nursery..

Responsibilities

• To organise a range of activities that will be stimulating to the children.
• To look after the basic needs of all children at the nursery.
• To maintain health and safety procedures and a high level of hygiene at the nursery.
• To be involved in developing a partnership with the parents of the children at the nursery.
• To be involved in working as a team, assisting in the day to day running of a unit.
• To carry out all activities to meet appropriate policies and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Be willing to register to undertake QCF 2 Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development qualification within the first 12 months of employment.
• Ability to demonstrate a commitment to a quality child centred environment.
• A good level of understanding of children's individual needs.

Further Information

Work time: Monday to Friday between hours of 11am - 2.30pm between 12-16 hours per week.
