Systems Administrator
Job description
NWCare is one of the leading domiciliary care providers in the province and we are recruiting a person to join our IT team as a Systems Administrator. This is a full-time permanent role, based in our Belfast branch, however, the successful applicant will be expected to travel to all other branches within NWCare. The main responsibility will be to maintain the internal software system including the online portal, mobile application, and to provide first line user support. On the job training will be provided on the bespoke IT system used by the company. .
Responsibilities
- First line system support
- General system maintenance
- Diagnosing and resolving software issues when they arise
- Monitoring system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely
- Researching and recommending new approaches to improve the system
- Providing technical support, when requested
- Carry out induction training with staff on all systems, teams, zoom etc.
- Dissipate updates on systems to relevant staff
- To take on and manage other internal projects and tasks as required
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management and prioritising skills
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Problem-solving skills
Desirable Skills
- IT qualification
