At Randox, we have an exciting opportunity for a technically minded individual to join our Applications team based at our Science Park in Antrim. This is a permanent part-time role at 20 hours a week. .

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting application based technical queries in accordance with company procedures.
• Generating, checking and updating of IFU (Instructions for Use) & ISA (Instructions for Specific Applications) documents for various automated clinical chemistry and immunoassay analysers in accordance to company procedures
• The provision of information and advice on the adaptation of Randox reagents for manual and automated use to other Randox staff.
• Compiling information on automated instruments by liaising with end-users, distributors and Randox sales staff.
• Raising customer requests / queries and departmental PCAs at the daily management meeting when required.
• Providing departmental statistics to the Plant Manager when required.
• Ensuring that all team members are working safely in accordance with company Health & Safety procedures and are maintaining a safe working environment.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• BSc in a Biological Science subject
• Familiar with Microsoft Office packages including Microsoft Word.
• Ability to interpret and analyse data.
• Good understanding of basic scientific principles
• Adept in the use of Microsoft Word and other Microsoft office products.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience operating clinical chemistry analysers and instruments.
