Job description

We are looking for an experienced Cafe Cook/Chef with a great attitude, to join Blethers Coffee House & Eatery, on the Cregagh Road, Belfast. We cook everything to order, with daily deliveries of fresh produce. This position requires a wide range of skills. You will need to work well as part of a team in a family run, family friendly, coffee house and eatery. All our Cooks/Staff are involved in cleaning and food hygiene procedures. The coffee shop is open from 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Saturday. No evening work. Position includes weekends. Part time, sociable hours, with the possibility of overtime. Immediate start. Pay Negotiable. .

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook customers food to order as instructed by front of staff.
• Busy breakfast service, every day, especially weekends.
• Busy take away trade - Fry's, sandwiches, paninis, soups and stews etc.
• Busy sit in trade.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• The ability to cook food and present it to a high standard.

Desirable Skills

• Level 1 & 2 food hygiene
