Programme for 2-3 Year Old Leader with duties listed below. .

Responsibilities

• To provide a safe, welcoming, high, quality environment for children to learn and develop in an inclusive setting.
• To work with families to promote and facilitate positive parenting and recognise parents/ caters roles as first educators.
• To provide a safe and stimulating environment for the children.
• To be responsible for the overall safety and wellbeing of the children..
• To oversee the completion of risk assessments throughout the setting both indoors and outdoors.
• To liaise with the management and other professionals.
• To manage and lead a staff team.
• To carry out office duties and paperwork for the programme.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Achieved or working towards level 5 Diploma in Child Care, Learning and Development .
• Knowledge of child development including age appropriate areas of development for this age.

Desirable Skills

• A QCF level 5 Diploma in Child Care, Learning and Development.
• Programme for 2-3 Year Old Training.
