Area Cleaning Manager reporting to the Regional Cleaning Manager. Managing a team of cleaning operatives to ensure the delivery of consistent cleaning standards to client satisfaction..

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the induction, training, development, appraisals of all employees in line with business standards.
• Identify individual training needs of employees and to ensure that appropriate training is delivered to develop the employee.
• Ensure designated areas and areas notified as short notice are cleaned to a high standard of presentation.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are used in the correct standard.
• Ensure all employees report to work in uniform.
• Ensure a clean and tidy working environment is achieved.
• Ensure a safe working environment when working is achieved.
• Ensure special cleaning is achieved where necessary.
• Ensure that refuse is disposed of in a safe manner as necessary and at the end of each shift, which may include incineration.
• Ensure all equipment is stored correctly and is in good working order.
