Warehouse Manager
Job description
We are a flooring contractor dealing exclusively with government contracts for schools and social housing and you will be working as part of the main office team based in Bangor. Duties will be stock control and keeping operatives supplied with all required goods. Liaising with suppliers. Managing stock control system. Providing stock audit reports to management. You will be supported by general office staff, and general operatives. Your role will be primary office based, some were house duties as required, checking incoming delivery's etc Manual handling may be required but you will have assistance for this element, you will need to operate a forklift, (training can be provided)..
Responsibilities
- Managing stock control system
- Raising orders with suppliers, keeping operatives stocked with required goods
- Full stock audits and matching orders to suppliers invoices
- Stock in, stock out audits
- Liaising with senior staff in relation to required goods, making sure all is ordered in a timely manor
- Warehouse health and safety (training provided if required)
- Forklift use (training provided)
- From time to time you will be required to assist in the office as directed by office manager in times of staff absence etc
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Ability to use a computer, at least basic knowledge of google and Microsoft programs
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in an office environment or stock control role desirable
- Driving licence desirable
