Spray Painter
Responsibilities
- Sanding and preparation of counterweights for paint operations.
- Spray Painting.
- Meet set targets while working in a high-volume production paint shop.
- Paint spraying of single and 2 pack paints.
- Report defects and possible issues to be rectified before paint.
- Working with heavy manufactured machine parts.
- Ensure proper handling, cleaning and storage of painting equipment.
- Ensure proper handling of equipment to minimise damage through spray painting process.
- Ensuring a high standard of workmanship.
- Leave working areas in a fit state to ensure no unnecessary health and safety risks prevail. Work in a manner that ensures the safety of oneself and other colleagues.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Experience with industrial air/air less paint spraying equipment.
- Worked previously in a high-volume production paint line.
- Previous experience in painting 2 pack paints.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.
Further Information
Work Time: 6am - 5pm Monday - Wednesday, 6am - 5pm Thursday.
