Spray Painter

Responsibilities

  • Sanding and preparation of counterweights for paint operations.
  • Spray Painting.
  • Meet set targets while working in a high-volume production paint shop.
  • Paint spraying of single and 2 pack paints.
  • Report defects and possible issues to be rectified before paint.
  • Working with heavy manufactured machine parts.
  • Ensure proper handling, cleaning and storage of painting equipment.
  • Ensure proper handling of equipment to minimise damage through spray painting process.
  • Ensuring a high standard of workmanship.
  • Leave working areas in a fit state to ensure no unnecessary health and safety risks prevail. Work in a manner that ensures the safety of oneself and other colleagues.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Experience with industrial air/air less paint spraying equipment.
  • Worked previously in a high-volume production paint line.
  • Previous experience in painting 2 pack paints.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.

Further Information

Work Time: 6am - 5pm Monday - Wednesday, 6am - 5pm Thursday.
