Job description

We have a number of vacancies available in our cutting shop. Responsibilities can/will include: Interpret drawings for programming CNC. To read and clearly understand engineering drawings and follow correctly. Meet set targets. Ensure internal customers are supplied all products as needed. Ensure proper handling of equipment and storage of all tools. Safe and controlled movement of production parts i.e. lifting and transporting components in the workshop using gantry and jib cranes..

• Fulfil the legal health and safety duties

• Perform any other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of this post, for which the post holder has the necessary experience and/or training

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years experience in a similar environment following work schedules and meeting deadlines
• Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes
• Effective communication skills
• Attention to detail and maintain high level of details
• Ability to work unsupervised and use initiative
• Basic English - need to be able to read and understand drawings

Further Information

Work time: 06.00-17.15 Monday - Wednesday, 06.00-17.00 Thursday.
