Job description

Searching for Hazardous Material Supervisor to work throughout the North and South of Ireland in accordance with environmental regulations. Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm, with out of hours work (nights and weekends). A generous wage will be negotiable in line with experience / training gained. .

Responsibilities

• Deal efficiently with clients and analysts.
• Complete Toolbox talks with onsite operatives.
• Set a good example by carrying out duties in a safe manner using PPE/RPE at the appropriate times.
• Lead the asbestos operatives through the project to air clearance.
• Ensure employees are informed of the risks and the appropriate precautions.
• Carry out equipment and plant inspections.
• Maintain onsite attendance records.
• Brief onsite operatives on work schedule.
• Ensure PPE provided is appropriate and usage is monitored.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Hold up to date training including CSR/CSCS card
• Hold a full driving licence
• Have good communication skills

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in asbestos removal and disposal processes
