Helping the cook/chef prepare the kitchen for service and helping do some light cooking and prep..

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards
• Helping do side dishes e.g. chips, salads and starters
• Using equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters
• Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed
• Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom
• Checking sell-by dates and rotating food stock
• Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans
• Observing cooking times and correct temperatures

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A level 2 food hygiene certificate
• Own transportation is essential

Work time 4pm-9pm Wednesday and Thursday, 12pm-9pm weekends.
