Job description

The successful Team Leader will be responsible for smooth running of the unit and to ensure the service standards are always adhered to and to react to any situations that could compromise them. .

Responsibilities

• To complete the opening and closing checklists and to ensure that everything on them has been done
• To ensure that the front of house areas is clean, tidy and attractive during opening times
• To produce weekly rotas following the managers guidelines
• To place orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• To ensure that all deliveries are checked and put away promptly and correctly
• To cash up at the end of a late shift and complete beverage stock takes when required

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a similar environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Have the capability to lead from the front with a leadership style that is motivational and calm and works well under pressure

Desirable Skills

• Experience of working in a quick service high volume environment
• Experience of working collaboratively within a Contract catering client led environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate and inspire people at all levels
