Job description

To work under the guidance of the management team carrying out a wide range of farming tasks, to include harvesting, picking and packing produce, to meet the highest standards within our customer requirements, whilst also maintaining high food hygiene and health and safety standards. This is a temporary seasonal position with the possibility of extension to permanent. Full training, staff facilities and PPE are provided.

Responsibilities

• Complete various planting, harvesting & packing tasks within the field or pack-house.
• Work with efficiency, speed & dexterity as part of a multicultural team.
• Preparing vegetables for production.
• Manual handling of produce at various stages throughout production.
• Clean down of production equipment.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Flexible approach to work hours to meet the needs of the business.
• Eligibility to work in the UK is a must.
