Job description

We are currently seeking Production Operatives to join our client, a leading dairy manufacturer, on a long-term temporary basis at their site in Newtownards. The successful candidate will report to the Shift Supervisor and will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of various production lines on a rotational basis.

Responsibilities

• Keeping production lines running.
• Calibrating machinery.
• Ensuring products are correct weight.
• Checking products for defects.
• Preparing of goods for dispatch.
• Reporting breakdowns, spillages, quality control issues.
• Forklift driving (if/when qualified).

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Flexible to work shifts.
• Counterbalance forklift licence or willing to obtain one when in the post.

Desirable Skills

• Previous warehouse/production experience preferred.
