Job description
The candidate will take a lead role within our team, providing support and direction to the engineers, be responsible for the tutelage of apprentices as well as overseeing engineers and subcontractors when used on installations. You will have a comprehensive knowledge and extensive experience working on Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control Systems. Through a technically minded and methodical approach, you will co-ordinate on site works to maximise efficiency, to complete works on time and deliver excellent customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity for a time-served engineer to progress their career within a growing and ambitious company.
Responsibilities
- Ability to lead and support a team of engineers
- Ensure that engineers action all administration requirements and all necessary documents and records are maintained.
- Ability to take ownership of Zest's work schedule, ensuring all engineers achieve the agreed task outcomes on time, and drive client satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Experience within the Fire & Security industry and comprehensive knowledge of their systems, products and industry standards.
- Excellent problem solving skills with a drive to find solutions
- Clean driving license
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with good attention to detail.
