We are seeking CNC Brake Press Operators to join our team manufacturing high quality Bespoke Architectural Metal Fabrications.

Responsibilities

  • Produce machined sheet metal fabrications as per relevant engineering drawings.
  • Set up, edit, and operate machinery.
  • Read and understand CNC Programming information.
  • Check and verify CNC programming and set up to ensure conformity.
  • Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance tasks, record machine accuracy and performance metrics.
  • Complete all quality documentation.
  • Work to factory schedule.
  • Work closely with other CNC programmers and fabricators.
  • Keep area clean, check equipment and encourage others to do the same.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Experience of CNC Brake Press Operation.
  • Ability to work from technical drawings and documentation.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience of handheld tools
  • Have Can do Ethos and positive problem-solving ability.
  • Able to trouble shoot and solve problems.
  • Quality focused with attention to detail.

Desirable Skills

  • Health & Safety knowledge.
  • GCSE or equivalent (2 at Grade C) or within an Engineering or manufacturing Environment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Current valid forklift license would be an advantage.
