Attributes Full valid driving licence on application and access to own transport on appointment.   • Ensure that all work within the service, is user focused and upholds the principles of respect, privacy, dignity, fulfilment, independence and choice. As required oversee and contribute to the referral process, admission and review procedures whilst.
  • Support the Registered Manager /Manager to work in partnership with the relevant statutory agencies, families and others, in planning and developing person centred programmes of care and support.
  • Monitor and support service users towards independence and contribute to the review of each adult in partnership with the multi-disciplinary/agency teams.
  • Respond issues of concern or complaints sensitively and appropriately and continue to keep Registered Manager /Manager updated on outcome or further escalation.
  • Work with Registered Manager /Manager and Administration Manager with co-ordinating and contributing to the selection, recruitment and induction of new staff.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory or management role in the area of health and social care.
  • Third level qualification in health and social care or equivalent or currently working towards attaining within the next 6 months.
  • Experience of working with children and or adults with high support needs
  • Demonstrable aptitude for effective person and resource management
