Job description

Help patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing and eating

Responsibilities

  • Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Collect specimens for testing and perform basic laboratory procedures.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
  • Document patient information accurately and timely.
  • Assist healthcare professionals in providing care to patients.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Must have 6 months paid care experience.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
  • To have, or be willing to attend all mandatory training courses for the role.
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced Access NI check.
  • To work as part of a team.
