Responsibilities

  • Reconciliation of daybooks to remittance posting via sales ledger receipts
  • Ability to view customer accounts and deal with credit requests
  • Allocation of invoices to credits and/or receipts
  • Credit control review in line with company policies
  • Processing invoices
  • Reconciliation of creditor statements at month end
  • Recognition of invoices and VAT treatment
  • Maintenance of the cheque journal and petty cash books

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar role ie accounts in a busy office environment
  • Strong IT and Excel skills are required
  • Diligent and able to work efficiently with attention to detail, within required timescales
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Further Information

About the Role: Negotiable salary. 20 hours per week. Monday to Friday, weekends off. Company pension scheme.
