Job description
The employer is: HARRISONS OF GREYABBEY. We are looking to a hire someone who is interested in working in our bakery area, serving customers etc.
Responsibilities
- Baking Techniques: Mastering baking skills, including mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking a variety of bread, pastries, and desserts.
- Recipe Adaptation: Learning to follow recipes accurately while also experimenting with ingredient substitutions, portion adjustments, and flavour variations.
- Attention to Detail: Developing precision and attention to detail in measuring ingredients, monitoring baking times, and achieving consistent quality in finished products.
- Food Safety/ Acquiring knowledge of food safety regulations, proper handling procedures, and sanitation practices to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
Skills and Qualifications

- Must be able to make own travel to and from our premises.

The employer is: HARRISONS OF GREYABBEY. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Must be eligible for JobStart scheme (50-64 and unemployed).
