Job description
The ICT Officer (Operations Support - Projects) will be responsible through the ICT Operations Support Manager for the provision of assistance in all areas of operational innovation and project work and ICT administration. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring accurate records are produced and maintained in all areas of work relating to this role. The post holder will assist with the daily operation of ICT Operational Support Systems such as Single Sign On (SSO), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM

- Assist in the development and preparation of ICT business cases and associated project documentation in line with Trust and HSCNI standards
- Work with customers, BSO, ICT suppliers and other agencies as appropriate to ensure contracts, SLA and OLA terms are met
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Have an ICT related university degree or relevant professional qualification and have worked for at least 1 year in an ICT related technical role OR Have worked for at least 2 years in an ICT related technical role
- One year’s experience of assisting in delivering, to completion, ICT related projects
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Qualified to ITIL Foundation level or willing to successfully undertake the examination within 6 months of taking up the post
- Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport appro
- The post holder must be prepared to be flexible in relation to working outside of normal office hours, as required to meet the needs of the service.
