Responsibilities
- Opportunity Identification: Monitor and identify new business opportunities via portals.
- Portal Management: Maintain portal logins and update key documents (e.g. insurance, health and safety).
- Submission Preparation: Assist in prequalification and tender submissions, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Content Writing: Draft non-technical sections of bid submissions.
- Collaboration: Work with internal and external teams to compile tenders.
- Accuracy Check: Ensure all tender documents are accurate before submission.
- Proposal Management: Coordinate and track RFP submissions.
- Tender Database: Maintain a tender bank for future submissions.
- Feedback: Seek feedback on unsuccessful tenders and implement improvements.
- Contract Awards: Record and track contract awards.
- Business Development Support.
- Customer Research: Assist in identifying and contacting potential customers in Ireland, the UK, and beyond.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 2 plus years in a similar role, or 4 plus years with a business-related degree.
- Education: Degree in Business or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Strong report writing and literacy skills.
- Excellent planning and project management abilities.
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and within a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a flexible approach.
- Knowledge of the construction or engineering industry.
- Grade C or above in GCSE Maths and English.
- Access to a car and the willingness to travel when required.
