Job description
Volunteer Now has an exciting new opportunity in our team and is seeking to recruit a youth worker who will be responsible for supporting young people through our new youth work programme, HEROES Plus, working with young people aged 14-24, providing innovative and transformative activities that inspire them develop their potential, contribute to building an inclusive society and be future community peace builders.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of HEROES plus in line with the project outcomes and targets.
- Assist in the recruitment of young people to participate in the HEROES plus project
- Support young people through their engagement on HEROES plus,empowering them to reach their full potential and achievetheir individual aspirations
- Promote a range of local activities for young people insupport of their personal progression

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Applicants will have a relevant qualification minimum of OCN level 2 in youth work or 2 years’ experience in supporting young people within the last 5 years.
Further Information
Location: NI wide programme with primary office base in Belfast. Other bases are in Enniskillen and Newry. Staff will be required to support the work of the organisation across all of its areas.
