Data Analyst
Job description
The post holder will provide a range of information and data analytics to the Family Practitioner Services (FPS) Senior Management Team. The post holder will play a key role in providing a range essential business services to HSC organisations and Primary care contractors. The post holder will take responsibility for the development and delivery of Information Services and Projects delivered by FPS. Support the use of complex reporting solutions through the provision of information services. The post holder will support payment assurance through the development of increased validation and quality assurance of the payment and processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead on process, quality assurance and validation initatives; the development and implementation of innovative solutions in line with developing business needs.
- Use judgement and experience to promote and encourage data quality improvement throughout FPS and to advise on data capture and data collection issues.
- Design, development and modification of reporting-related solutions
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- A University degree or equivalent recognised qualification in a computer science discipline or a degree with a substantial computing/data management element AND 2 years relevant experience OR 1b.5 years relevant experience
- Ability to work as an effective member of a team including managing the work of others.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of the structure and key business of Health and Social Care.
