Job description

We are seeking Plant Operators for our client based in Belfast.

Responsibilities

• The safe operating of LPG terminal valves for delivery of products from storage vessels to the cylinder filling plant.
• The safe loading/unloading of cylinders onto pallets and trailers.
• The safe operating of equipment required for filling, weighing, sealing, de-valving and handling of Propane and Butane cylinders.
• Inspection and quality checks on filled Propane and Butane cylinders.
• Additional manual handling/labouring duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Driving Licence.
• Good communication/interpersonal skills.
• Excellent understanding of health and safety.
• Ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
• Ability to keep accurate daily records.
• Ability to work overtime or on a shift pattern if required (early morning/after hours).

Desirable Skills

• 1-2 years experience in a general labouring/operations/manual handling role is desirable but not essential.
