Job description
The postholder, in conjuction with the Assistant Director of Financial Accounting & Financial Services to deliver financial governance and services as per the objectives and responsibilities of the Director of Finance & Estates and in compliance with the financial governance arrangements of the Trust. The postholder will assist in developing, implementing and maintaining the financial control framework which is consistent with DoH guidance.
Responsibilities
- Represent the Finance Directorate at various Directorate, Trust and regional working groups as required.
- Deputise for the Assistant Director of Financial Accounting and Financial Services, as appropriate, including representation at regional, internal and external meetings.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- A minimum of 2 year’s post qualifying experience in a senior management role; (Senior Management role defined as experience gained at Agenda for Change Band 7 or above or equivalent experience outside the Health & Social Care sector).
- Worked with a diverse range of Stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation, to achieve successful outcomes for a minimum of 2 years.
