Accounts Assistant/BookKeeper/Accounts Technician


Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in accounts administration or bookkeeping in a fast-paced office environment. The Accounts Administrator will be responsible for maintaining financial records, performing data entry tasks, reconciling accounts, and supporting the accounts department.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Process invoices and expense claims accurately and in a timely manner
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
  • Credit Control establishing and maintaining good customer relationships
  • Accounts Payable, processing supplier invoices & payments
  • record receipts and payments

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Administrator or Bookkeeper, with at least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Well organised, self-motivated person with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to cope in a fast-paced working environment
  • Flexible and willing to work to meet deadlines
  • Strong IT skills including experience with Sage and Microsoft Excel

Desirable Skills

  • Will consider industry experience if part qualified or qualified.
  • Good team player with excellent communication skills
