Job description

Working on a mix of domestic house removals and our specialised logistics contracts. Hours will include local work within NI and weekly trips throughout Ireland and GB. You will be working within a team of two and full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Completing paperwork as required.
• Managing/leading your crew on site.
• Working with a team of Drivers & Porters.
• Specialist packing, moving & storing.
• Loading & unloading into our warehouse & trade partners warehouses.
• Weekly schedules throughout the UK & Ireland.
• Local house removals.
• Working on specialist contracts held by McGimpseys.
• Maintaining good vehicle cleanliness and completing daily vehicle checks.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Clean Driving License
• Digital Tacho Card
• Up to date CPC
• Excellent customer service skills
• Comply with the Company's non-smoking policy

Desirable Skills

• 2 years HGV driving experience preferred
