Job description
As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing the company’s credit and collections processes. You will be responsible for ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, maintaining accurate records, and fostering positive relationships with clients. Your goal is to minimize bad debts while supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Collections Management: Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices
- Customer Communication: Contact clients via phone, email, and letters to follow up on overdue accounts and negotiate payment terms.
- Account Reconciliation: Review customer accounts to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial records.
- Payment Processing: Process payments and allocate them to customer accounts, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Dispute Resolution: Work with internal teams and clients to resolve payment disputes and inquiries in a timely manner.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable, ideally in an office environment.
- Strong understanding of credit control principles and financial management.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good Computer Skill however specific training will be given with our accounts
- Able to communicate in English Language
Desirable Skills
- Excel experience
