Job description
The post holder is responsible for assisting the Planning and Contracts Manager/ Senior Manager with the development, management and monitoring of the contracting process with the Independent Sector, other public Organisations, and with Health Authorities and Local Authorities elsewhere in the United Kingdom. Responsibilities will include assisting the Planning and Contracts Manager/ Senior Manager in ensuring that contracting process and contract documentation drafted is uniform across all areas of the Trust and is aligned to regional guidance and best practice.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Degree or professional qualification and 2 years’ experience working in a management role in a capacity, which has included contracting/ commissioning experience with the Independent/ Voluntary sector. OR
- HNC/ HND or equivalent/ higher qualification AND 3 years’ experience in a role involving contracting/ commissioning with the Independent/ Voluntary sector including at least one year in a management role OR
- 5 years’ experience in a role involving contracting/ commissioning experience with the Independent/ Voluntary sector including at least one year in a management role.
