Data Engineering Intern. 6 months full time. Start your career in data engineering with Business Insider’s data platform team. In this hybrid role 2 days per week in Belfast you’ll help build and improve data pipelines, solve real world data challenges, and enhance data quality. Get hands on experience with Python, SQL and business intelligence tools, learning from experienced engineers. No formal qualifications required, just basic programming skills and a passion for data. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the data platform team to understand our data warehousing approach and data strategy
• Communicate effectively with product team and other members of the data group about initiatives and feature improvements
• Assist in implementing logical data pipelines and improving data quality
• Participate in the development of new data features

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Basic programming knowledge, ideally from a Computer Science degree, coding bootcamp, or self-directed learning
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrable understanding of basic structured query language
• Business Intelligence tools and basic data visualisation techniques

Desirable Skills
