We're looking for a Yard Operative to be part of our client's team in Ballyclare, supporting the smooth running of yard operations with your skills and expertise. About the role: Location: Ballyclare Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (with occasional flexibility for Saturday mornings or weekday evenings) Why should you apply? Responsibilities

• Complete road tests for HGVs
• Control yard vehicle movements and ensure the yard is kept in order
• Collect and deliver HGVs to support the driver team
• Move vehicles to battery charging points as necessary
• Prep trailers for MOT and hook up units to test trailers
• Maintain a clean and organised yard and workshop, including waste management (hazardous waste included), bin emptying, and recycling
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• HGV Licence (including classes C & E)
• Up-to-date CPC training with a valid Driver Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience in yard maintenance in a commercial setting
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations related to cleaning and maintenance
• Excellent communication skills
