Job description

To assist in the production and development of both financial and non-financial information that will effectively inform, and influence, the users of financial management information in the pursuance of their managerial duties, with specific emphasis on facilitating the SPPG and other external stakeholders meeting their financial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Build, and maintain, collaborative relationships managers within the organisation and other external stakeholders (including DoH, Trusts, Auditors) in order to facilitate robust, and comprehensive, financial management and control.
• Provision of relevant supplementary management information, financial and non-financial, to improve efficiency, effectiveness and economy.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• AAT/HND qualified or CCAB/CIMA part-qualified and worked for at least 2 years’ in a finance or accounting role.
• A university degree or equivalent and worked for at least 2 years in a finance or accounting role.
• Worked for at least 4 years in a finance or accounting role at Band 4 or equivalent

Desirable Skills

• At least 1 year’s relevant financial experience working in a Health and Social Care organisation.
