Job description
In order to meet the overall mission of the Trust, the post holder will: Provide professional, managerial and clinical leadership in the planning, development and delivery of haematology inpatient services. Plan to deliver effective patient focused services which meet local, regional and national requirements. Promote and monitor safe and effective care. Enhance the patient/client experience. Contribute to the delivery of the organisations objectives
Responsibilities
- Promote adherence to DHSSPS and NMC guidelines for practice requirements and standards, for example, safe handling, administration, storage and custody of medicinal products.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Have three years post-registration experience working with Haematology/Oncology patients.
- Hold a relevant diploma / degree.

- Experience of carrying out research/audit. Experience of being involved in implementing evidence based practice.
