Drive and operate JetVac & Tankering HGV’s

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintenance of Wastewater Assets
• Sewer cleaning
• Clearing of sewer blockages
• Confined space working
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Prepare pre-shift vehicle inspections

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• 2 years' of experience working in drainage industry
• A record of safe vehicle operation
• Possess a current valid HGV driver’s licence
• CPC licence is an advantage but not essential as CPC training will be provided

Further Information

Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, including an alcohol and drug screen is required. We offer a competitive hourly rate and enhanced rates for additional hours and performance related bonuses . Hours worked after 5pm are paid at plus £3 per hour, hours worked at the weekend are paid at plus £5 per hour and payments are made for call out, standby and performance related bonuses. This role has the potential to earn up to £45,000 per annum. Employees benefits include 28 days annual leave, private health care, life assurance scheme and auto enrolment pension scheme. You will be joining a friendly working environment as part of a growing successful Group. Job will be based out of our Newry or Belfast Depot, however based on location you may only need to attend the office when required. A basic clearance Access NI check will be required for this role.
