Sense has an opportunity for Waking Night Support Workers to join our Community Team in Dunmurry. As a Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose, to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible.

Responsibilities

• Supporting people with everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.
• Personal care and hygiene.
• Helping with finances.
• Medication and wellbeing.
• Going into the community for shopping or other trips.
• Supporting people with their social life and night life.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Able to demonstarte a caring and empathetic approach.
• Willing to attend training as needed to support you in your role.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience desirable but not essential.

Further Information

The location of the service is accessible via public transport but due to the shift timings candidates may have to make their own way in. Work with Sense and make a real difference to the lives of the people we support and their families.
