Job description

Ladyhill Lodge Private Nursing Home (Learning Disability care). Care Assistants support residents with daily living activities, promoting independence, dignity and comfort. You’ll assist with personal care, mealtimes, mobility, and social engagement, helping residents feel safe, valued, and at home.

Responsibilities

• As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the wellbeing and dignity of our residents.
• Assist with personal care, mealtimes, mobility and social engagement.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Please note the role may involve using heavy equipment and lifting residents.

Desirable Skills

• NISCC registration (or able to obtain within 6 months)
• Previous paid or unpaid experience in providing care in all aspects of daily living.
• A qualification equivalent to an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.

Further Information

Location of the role is: 40 Creevery Rd, Antrim BT41 2LQ. This location is not serviced by public transport so be sure you have a way to get to and from your shifts. This role involves substantial access to vulnerable adults. The successful candidate will be offered the position subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure Check through Access NI.
