Job description

Assistant the Playgroup Leader in the running of a pegs programme nursery.

Responsibilities

• Provide a provision of appropriate developmental play activities.
• Encourage new and innovative approaches towards learning through play.
• Listen to, encourage, enable, stimulate and ensure the safe keeping of the children.
• Contribute to a positive behaviour framework in Kids First.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• NVQ Level 2 in childcare is required.

Desirable Skills

• Level 3 qualification is desirable.
