Job description

Provide provision of appropriate developmental play activities. Encourage new and innovative approaches towards learning through play. Listen to, encourage, enable, stimulate and ensure the safe keeping of the children. Contribute to a positive behaviour framework in Kids First.

Responsibilities

• Recognise the need for (a) the overall safety of the children with special regard to health and safety regulations and (b) good standards of hygiene.
• Carry out observations and record assessment of individual children as directed by the manager.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• NVQ level 2 / 3 in childcare.
