Due to increased demand, Silver Cloud Care NI is recruiting Care Assistants in Ballymena. We are looking for kind and caring individuals to provide care and support to vulnerable adults in their own home. We offer, immediate interviews, competitive rate of pay, flexible working hours, minimum call time 1 hour.

Responsibilities

• Ensure physical and emotional wellbeing.
• Assisting with dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility support.
• Meal preparation
• Provide much needed company and and engaging conversation.
• Social Outings, go for a cuppa and a walk around the shops.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience working as a Care Assistant (not essential as full training will be provided)
• A caring and friendly nature.
• A non judgemental approach to care.
• Patience (you may have to listen to the same story numerous times)
• Good conversation

Further Information

You will be required to undergo an enhanced Access NI enhanced check. Be registered with NISCC (or willing to register). Complete all mandatory training. We offer flexible working hours and a great rate of pay.
