Production Assistant
Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: EDUCATIONAL VOICE The Production Assistant will support the animation and video production process within Educational Voice, assisting with pre-production, editing, and post-production tasks. The role offers hands-on experience in a creative studio environment, contributing to educational and Irish-language content projects. The participant will work closely with the production and creative teams to deliver engaging, high-quality media for a range of clients and educational platforms. The successful candidate will receive mentoring and skills development in media production and post-production processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing scripts, storyboards, and visual assets for animation and video projects.
- Support project coordination, scheduling, and file management.
- Contribute to editing and reviewing video and audio content.
- Work with the creative team to ensure content meets project deadlines and quality standards.
- Learn and apply production techniques and software under supervision.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Interest in animation, media, or video production.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a creative team.
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn production software.
Desirable Skills
- Irish language skills (spoken or written).
- Basic knowledge of editing or animation software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Canva).
- Creative problem-solving and communication skills.
