Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of our service user who requires a Care Assistant. The role involves supporting an adult male with Down Syndrome and dementia to maintain an active routine and wellbeing. Responsibilities

• Duties will focus on accompanying the service user on daily walks and attending the gym to support physical activity.
• The role may also involve occasional support with transport to appointments, with another carer present.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• At least one year experience as a Care Assistant is preferred and access to a car with a valid driving licence is desirable.
