Our Client is seeking Permanent Production Operatives required for Dayshift based in Maghaberry. The purpose of this role is to operate machinery and perform tasks in the production and packaging of food products.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product manufactured is consistent and of high quality.
• Observe all legal and quality process control policies and regulations.
• Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks.
• Accurately maintain company records and forms.
• Report any defective materials, food safety concerns or questionable conditions to the Production Supervisor.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
• Complete all operator testing requirements specifically calibration, startup checks and CCP checks.
• Report equipment faults to maintenance staff.
• Clean and maintain work areas and machinery.
• Covers in the absence of the Production Supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of Food Hygiene.
• Ability to work as an effective team member including accepting supervision / assistance from other team members.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently.
• Good communicator.
• Access to a car due to client location.

Desirable Skills

• HACCP, BRCGS
