Maintenance Technician
Job description
You will be responsible for all upkeep and repair duties including maintaining green spaces, identifying need for repairs, responding to maintenance requests, and servicing equipment throughout the business. To be an effective Maintenance officer, you will be skilled and hard-working, with outstanding problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic tasks including painting, filling, cleaning.
- Managing maintenance repairs.
- Perform repairs on company machinery, equipment and appliances.
- Detect and report need for maintenance repairs.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Health & Safety processes with particular attention to lone, working, working in live buildings, vulnerable service users, Risk Assessments, COSHH, Manual Handling and GDPR.
- Experience of delivering a maintenance service across a multisite organisation.
- Full Driving licence and access to a car insured for business purposes.
- Working knowledge of using Microsoft M365, including Word; Outlook.
Desirable Skills
- Ability to participate in the On Call Rota.
- Relevant qualification (e.g.) Building Maintenance Multi-Trade Repair and Refurbishment Operations (Construction) (L2). CSR
Further Information
Location: Grosvenor House, 5 Glengall St, Belfast, BT12 5AD. Salary: £28,264.6 per annum based on 35 hours per week.
